My Review
Oh, this book was awesome. It has everything that has to be there in a dark enemies-to-lovers romance. there are going to be some spoilers but I will try not to spoil too much. Our FMC is a wolf who has a secret identity which we don't know about until the last chapter. She is hell-bent on revenge because some 15 years ago her family along with  King and queen of the wolf tribe was killed by The vampire king Hendrick. So to avenge them Our little wolf wants to start a rebellion but for that she has to go to this Wolf training academy where they train wolves to be pets for vampires.

So there are some derogatory themes. Vampires are ruling and they treat every other species as their slaves. Kira wants to end this treatment for the wolves and for that, she plans and get into the academy where she is surprised to find out that many things are changing but the treatment of wolves as saves will never change. she tries to get into a famous pack as part of her plan but she is claimed by the stubborn Vampire Nathaniel. and then she makes a deal with him to get into the pack again.

The book is very well-written I would say. The plot, the story everything is perfect. I started reading this book and could not put it down. The plot is so interesting that I was on the edge of my seat and the cliffhanger at the end of the book...lol...I was not expecting that. I knew something big would happen but not that.....anyway you're warned there is a spicy cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the next book.
P.S. If the author is reading I would say please please change the book cover. Create something beautiful that depicts the story well. The current book cover does not depict it well. The story is so good so I think the book cover should be excellent.

A Critical Lens on 'Hunting Adeline' by H.D. Carlton: Exploring the Disturbing Themes | A Review

I kept delaying writing the review because I had to remember it and didn't want to do that. This 2nd book of Cat and Mouse duet is the story of a human trafficking survivor. This book is a huge  TRIGGER WARNING . Kindly proceed with caution. I even got traumatized after reading it. So to explain the synopsis; Adeline (the main character) got kidnapped at the end of the first book and sold to some people who groomed her for some very rich and powerful clients.  Almost half of the book is based on Adeline surviving the worst situations possible for a woman. Adeline had one advantage someone was fervently searching for her, and eventually, Zade managed to rescue her after four agonizing months. The scene when Zade finds her and she just could not believe it. She crumbled to her knees thinking she was hallucinating. After Zade brings her home she struggles so hard to process her trauma. She learns to fight to take control of her life. She gets close to her mother. She hates h...

'The Never King' by Nikki St. Crowe | A Review

"The Never King" by  Nikki St. Crowe   is an incredibly absurd book. I mean, while reading it, I found myself perplexed, cringing, and wondering what on earth I was actually reading. These rollercoaster emotions I experienced throughout the book. The story revolves around Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, with Winnie, a member of the Darling family line, whose mother is clearly mentally unstable. Her mother's bizarre and neglectful behavior towards her is maddening. When Winnie turns 18, her mother's insanity escalates as she believes Peter Pan is coming to kidnap Winnie, and indeed, he does just that. He takes her to Neverland, where he inexplicably chains her to a bed and watches over her while she's unconscious. The frequent mention of Winnie being different from other Darlings without a clear explanation becomes rather tiresome. Meanwhile, Peter's shadow is lost, causing Neverland to wither slowly. So his main goal is to find his shadow and secure his power o...

My mind is in short-circuit mode..LOL!!! I listened to it in November and I am late in writing this review. So, let's explore... War is coming and I don't know which war and with whom. the Prince brothers confront their sister and find out some new secrets of hers and how she is the manipulative one.
