Today is read an ebook day. To go a little bit into history this day was first started in 2014 by an ebook distributor Overdrive. It was first started to encourage people to read on their electronic devices. I think I understand the need to encourage reading on devices because it is convenient and many people cannot afford paperbacks or hardbacks. One more reason is many books are not available in every country in physical form. I know this because a lot of books are not available in my country and they are very much popular in US. So for people like me, reading ebooks comes in handy.
