Unable to cure a mysterious plague with magical Stitchbinding, Princess Lineya must Timesplice into the future to find a cure for her mother, who fell ill at Lineya's hand. But Timesplicing into the future has a cost. Because she is ripped from the fabric of time, the princess does not exist in the future. No one recognizes her-- not even her betrothed.
A crown to save.
In the future, a cruel king rules, oppressing all in the land. But only the king's closest advisors can use Stitchbinding powers.
A romance out of time.
Kemp hates all Lyndens. He yearns to gain Stitchbinding powers and to overthrow the king. When Lineya joins his band of rebels, he doesn't trust her. Yet as they plan their attack on the palace to steal the cure, they form an unbreakable bond. Instead of returning to save her mother and inherit the crown, Lineya insists on staying with Kemp, a peasant rebel she could never have in her own timeline. Will she choose duty or love?

MY REVIEW
First of all, thanks to the author for giving me a chance to read her book baby. I started reading the book and was a little confused I was like what was happening with all the stitching and weaving. The terms were cool but I had zero idea what was happening. You know Fantasy. Anyway, I finally understood the magic system and started picturing the things I am reading.
I found a little tidbit at the end of the book that the idea of this story came to the author in a dream. How cool is that? May be it's a sign for me to start creating stories from my dreams because I see the coolest dreams. Back to the topic...The magic system is amazing, the world-building is awesome and the characters are beautifully written and it is a young adult. Lately, a lot of books targeting young adults are spicy which I do not support. So this book is perfect for Young adults who are starting out in the Romantasy Genre.
Also, I like to mention this book gave off major vibes of The Queen of the Tearling Series which is also one of my favorite books. The story revolves around Lineya who is a princess and has to save her people so she travels to future in the search of a cure and finds an earth-shattering reality happening in the future.
There are two potential love interests with their own storyline and their own agenda in the whole scheme of things. One is the real asshole and the other is the fake asshole 😅😂. I like them both s characters and I cannot wait for the next books to see what will happen to these 3 characters. Maybe be author will move to the Love triangle storyline or maybe she move to the fated mates kind of things because of the connection Lineya has with one of them. But a girl can imagine. I do love a good heartbreaking love triangle though😅. These are just my musings and predictions I am just sensing that this book is going to be an epic story.
On the whole, the book is amazing. The first half was a little slow for me but at the second half, I was at the edge of my seat and couldn't read fast enough. It was heartstopping. It's a 5-star read for me and I highly recommend it. And also can we take a moment to appreciate the book cover it's beautiful.

☙ The Magic System....Loved it
☙ I don't think there is any but I got angry at Rhett multiple times, Oakum is evil and power-hungry, and I do not like the fact that Lynden treated people from Krashe but it has to be here for the plot.
